I’m Tired of Eating Human Meat

I’m Tired of Eating Human Meat

A man who was caught with human flesh has made a shocking confession that has left many people completely flustered.

According to Daily Sun SA, a man who was found in possession of human parts allegedly told Escourt cops he was “tired of eating human flesh”.

Escort Cops spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbhele said the suspect walked into the Estcourt cop shop on Friday night and confessed to the cops on duty.

“When he was questioned, he produced part of a human leg and a hand. Further investigation led police to a house in the Rensburgdrift area in Estcourt where police were met with a foul smell, and more human remains were found.
“A second suspect was also arrested in Estcourt. A third suspect, who is a Sangoma (herbalist), was arrested in Amangwe area where more body parts were found.

“It is alleged that the suspects defiled, killed and cut up the body of a woman, which they then ate. The allegations by the suspect are that they would r*pe and kill the victims before they could cut them into pieces and eat their parts,” said Mbhele.
She said police were still investigating if there are other people who had died at the hands of the suspects.

“We urge those who have family relatives missing to come forward so that samples can be taken to perform DNA tests,” she said.

A source said there were suspicions that the three may have violated graves as well.

“They face r*pe, murder and charges relating to possession of human tissue,” said Mbhele.
Ward councillor Mthembeni Majola said he could not believe his eyes when one of the suspects led community members and police to where the body of a women was buried.

“It was buried under big rocks and we had to call a TLB machine to remove the rocks.

They showed us the body parts in one of the houses. They admitted that they were waiting for the body parts to attract maggots. Apparently maggots collect money for them.”
He said a community meeting had been called for today.

“There had been a lot of rumours that foreign nationals were the ones killing people. None of those arrested is a foreign national. As community members we need to discuss how we are going to deal with this. We have also called izinyanga to the meeting. They need to distance themselves from this,” he said.

Majola said the meeting will be held at Esigodlweni community hall.
Three suspects are expected to appear in the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court on Monday for being in possession of human remains.

In 2003, Ojukwu Agreed With Me That Nigeria Must Remain United - Buhari

During his speech in a live broadcast this morning, President Buhari revealed that in 2003, former Biafran warlord, late Emeka Ojukwu paid him a two-day visit at his home in Daura, Katsina state where they both discussed and analysed the problems of Nigeria and came to the conclusion that Nigeria must remain united.

He said this in reaction to the current campaign for the creation of Biafra being championed by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biagra, Nnamdi Kanu. Buhari said

“In 2003 after I joined partisan politics, the late Chief Emeka Ojukwu came and stayed as my guest in my hometown Daura. Over two days we discussed in great depth till late into the night and analysed the problems of Nigeria. We both came to the conclusion that the country must remain one and united.”

He stressed that despite the various calls for secession, Nigeria’s unity is settled and non-negotiable.

“Nigeria’s unity is settled and not negotiable. We shall not allow irresponsible elements to start trouble and when things get bad they run away and saddle others with the responsibility of bringing back order, if necessary with their blood,” he said

ASUU’s Demands Are Unrealistic – Former Education Minister

ASUU’s Demands Are Unrealistic – Former Education Minister

A former Minister of Education, Dr Oby Ezekwesili, on Sunday said that the demands by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) were unrealistic in light of the current economic situation in Nigeria. Ezekwesili said this while speaking with Sources in Ibadan while reacting to the ongoing strike embarked upon by the union.
The former minster said that lasting solution to the crisis bedevilling the education sector could only be found from strong analysis of the issues raised by ASUU and evidenced based policies.
“Money is not limitless and yet everyone must acknowledge that investment in education is crucial and it is key.
“There are, however, some fundamental reforms that the sector needs in order to ensure that it is not about the size of the funding but about the productivity of the funding.
“You cannot simply express a desire, it must be founded on reality and that means you must know what can be achieved within a given period,” she said.
According to her, a structural and policy change which allows public and private investments should be integrated into the university system.
“If you remember, the ASUU negotiation started in 2007 when I was the Minister of Education and we constituted a government negotiation team, led by the late Gamaliel Onosode,
“Even though that period was short, one of the major issues for me was for us to make sure that we were being evidenced based in the way we were solving the problem,
“We considered issues like the existing model in countries similar to us in emerging economies,’’ she said.
The former minister said the team also considered what could be done by the public and private sectors about university funding among others.
“Those are the kinds of evidence that we had and on the basis of which we hinged our negotiation at that time,
“It was a very short period and then we had to leave and the next government that took over had to continue.
“I do not know the basis of the final agreement they reached with ASUU, but if it was not anchored on analytical evidence, I am not surprised that there has been inability to implement it.”
Ezekwesili urged both the Federal Government and ASUU to return to the negotiating table and work on the basis of analysis and evidence to find lasting solution to the dispute.
Report has it that ASUU on Aug. 14, embarked on an indefinite strike to press home its demands for the implementation of an agreement signed between it and the Federal Government on condition of service.
ASUU is also asking for increased funding of university, autonomy of the institution and academic freedom.

Shocking !!! 18 year-old boy kills mother because of disappearing charm

Npf

The Police have arrested an 18-year-old man, identified as  Agugu Adau, for allegedly killing his mother for refusing to give him a “disappearing” charm he claimed was his inheritance from his late herbalist father.
A family source told the News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) that Agugu committed the crime at his Kisaghyip village farm in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau.
The source said that Agugu, after killing his mother, removed the sum of N20,000 from her blood-sucked clothes and used it to buy a mobile phone, a shirt and a pair of slippers.
Mr Tyopev Terna, spokesman of the Plateau Police Command, confirmed that the suspect was being held, but declined further comments.
“Investigation is ongoing. The details are not ready. Please understand with us and be patient,” he told NAN on phone.
But Agugu, who spoke with our correspondent, said that he killed the woman because she refused to give him a charm that was his inheritance from his father.
“When I was 14 years old, my late father, who was a native doctor, showed me a charm that enabled him to disappear and reappear at will. He promised to handover the charm to me when I turn 18.
“On his dying bed four years ago, he gave my mother the charm and asked her to give me when I turn 18. But I am now 18 and she has refused to give it to me.
“On this fateful day at the farm, I asked her about it, but she threatened to throw the charm into the river, if I disturbed her too much.
“Her response infuriated me and I suddenly felt that she was of no value as a mother. I immediately slaughtered her with the knife I was using to harvest potatoes.
“After slaughtering her, I dumped her body in the bush,” he said.
Mr David Adau, senior brother to the suspect, has, however, dismissed the suspect’s claim that he killed the mother because of a charm.
“Prior to the incident, the family had faced several problems with Agugu. He was fond of stealing and causing trouble.
“I believe he killed our mother because of the N20,000 I gave her a day before the incident. I work at the mines in Barkin-Ladi, and usually give my earnings to our mother to keep for me.
“I handed over the money to my mother in his presence; in fact, when I gave her the money, she expressed fear that Agugu could attack her to get the money. He has proved her right,” David said.
David said that on his return from work a day after the incident, he asked after the mother but Agugu said he did not know of her whereabouts.
“He said he did not know where my mother was. Later in the day, I saw him with a new mobile phone, a new shirt and slippers, and I became curious.
“I asked him (suspect) where he got them from, but he could not give me satisfactory answers.
“Other family members joined me and we kept pestering him over our mother, but he insisted he knew nothing.
“Three days later, I invited the Police to question my brother. That worked immediately as he confessed to killing her,” he said.
David said that the suspect later led family members and the police to the farm where they saw the already decomposing corpse of the woman.

Jonathan made mistakes, but Buhari is a mistake – Reno Omokri

Buhari is a mistake

A Statement by the spokesman to former President, Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has described President Muhammadu Buhari as a “mistake”.
Omokri also told Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, to stop making excuses and do his job.
Taking to Twitter, Omokri wrote that before the All Progressives Congress (APC) came into power, Fashola had promised stable electricity, if only the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is voted out.
However, he is now blaming Jonathan, for reducing electricity tariff.
Omokri wrote: “Fashola in 2014: The only way to get stable power is voting out PDP
“Fashola today: We cant get power because GEJ reduced tariff to get vote
“PMB will do well moving @tundefashola from being in charge of generating power for Nigeria to being in charge of generating excuses for govt
“The main difference between GEJ/PDP and PMB/APC is that @GEJonathan made his mistakes as President while @MBuhari is a mistake as President.
“The major difference between the PDP and the APC is that the whereas the PDP had some confirmed liars as members, the APC is itself a lie!”

Federal Government Says Nigerian Beggars Will Soon Start Paying Tax

Federal Government Says Nigerian Beggars Will Soon Start Paying Tax

The Nigerian government is pursuing a strong tax policy that will be difficult to evade by people of different classes of labour.

that no one would be left out in the campaign to enlarge the tax revenue.
She said some beggars were earning millions and that “proceeds from begging are taxable. You are supposed to pay taxes even if your means of income is begging”.
Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun said this in Lagos at a lecture at PWC’s Business School, with the theme: ‘Voluntary Assets and Income Declaration Scheme (VAIDS) Interactive Session for Executives and Business Owners.’
She said to ascertain the income status of the companies/individuals and their lifestyle, investigators would rely on information derived from Bank Verification Number (BVN), records of property ownership, records of foreign exchange allocation, and records of company ownership from the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), among others.
Adeosun said: “We are using some firms to trace assets internationally. The investigators’ findings will enable us to compare the income and how much tax the company/person is really paying, and that gives us lots of information.

“But we encourage people to come up and pay their taxes willingly. You can register a high-end car. It tells me something about your income.

“So, we look at your tax returns. If you registered Mercedes E-Class and you are paying N100,000 tax, then something is wrong. Those are red flags. We now have the capacity to assess people accurately.

“We are trying to build an economy where we have oil and other things. It is going to be oil plus and wider economy”.

"The fire of the Holy Ghost... all over your body... mind renewal... may your mind be renewed, In Jesus mighty name," the pastor is heard saying and tried to place his hand on the man's head but the man pushed the hand away and tried to move away.

The pastor went after him, saying: "Take it. Take it. In Jesus mighty name." he added: "Jesus Christ is your father. Who is your father?"

At this point, the man had had enough and challenged the pastor. "You, who is your mother?"

The man tried to walk away again but the pastor went after him and the mad man attacked. As they wrestled each other to the ground, the villagers can be heard laughing in the background.  It is not clear where or when the video was shot but it was just posted on social media today and is fast going viral.
