My journey from Ikorodu to work everyday is always not interesting cos of the hours i spend in traffic.

I took my seat as the ticketer/conductor called in passengers. We moved and gradually approached the massive standstill traffic.

Few minutes later, we all on the bus started hearing slaps in sequence, accompanied with a female voice. We all looked to the direction of the latest drama. Honestly, i thought i had seen it all before. It was from about 3 seats behind me. A man who was sitting beside a good looking chic was being slapped by her angrily. His guilt look was like that of a child who was caught stealing meat from a pot.

Ha! Surprisingly, we tried to understand the reason why this lady kept slapping the poor older man.
He was trying to finger me, mad man! He slid his two fingers into my skirt! She said (in Yoruba language).
Words failed me.

The man received almost a hundred of slaps as passengers (mostly guys) close to the seat registered their annoyance on his face. He was pushed away and punished to join standing passengers.

With a disdainful look, everyone started to discuss the issue.
(Both in Yoruba and English) That’s a bad attitude! He is a disgrace to men! Maybe he is not normal!

And the argument took another shape when some said; ‘He must have been seduced into acting that way, check out what the lady is wearing’.

It went worse when someone said the man might be a ritualist, a baddo.
Ermmmm…. Really? Okay, let me just keep hearing the arguments cos i won’t judge anyone. Could this be agro? I asked myself, laughing as i chatted to a friend about it on WhatsApp.

Soon, slaps resumed on the man. His eyes turned red already and he was looking like he’s going to die. I had to advise him; bros just go down and enter another bus if you don’t want a coma.

If someone told me this story, i wouldn’t have believed. What could this be? I don’t understand at all.

60-year-old Atifa Ljajic and her husband, Serif Nokic (68), from Serbia, had been trying to have a baby for over 20 years, Oddity Central reports.

 

When no one thought it was even possible anymore, the miracle happened.

 

Atifa recently gave birth to a healthy girl, but on the same day, her husband left them, claiming that raising a baby at his age would be damaging to his health.

 

Atifa Jjajic is the second oldest mother in the history of Serbia. She had been trying to get pregnant for over two decades, but all the treatments she underwent proved unsuccessful.

 

Over the last few years, she attempted to become pregnant through in-vitro fertilization five times, and on the last attempt, she managed to take her pregnancy to term and give birth to a beautiful baby girl.

 

It was the happiest day of Atifa’s life, but only for a few hours, because on that very same day, her husband announced that he was leaving them, because raising a baby at age 68 would be detrimental to his health.

Serif, who had opposed the pregnancy at first, but went along with it after seeing Atifa so happy, said that he realized how difficult living with a baby would be, as soon as he heard her crying.

 

“Above all, I am a sick man, I am 68, I am a diabetic and I have a weak heart,” the 68-year-old told reporters. “It is not easy not to sleep all night and to hear a baby’s cry. She got what she wanted, now she is happy."

 

And if that wasn’t cruel enough, Nokic doesn’t even want to legally register little Alina as his child, so her mother will have to raise her all by herself.

 

The couple are believed to have used an anonymous sperm donor, and Atifa says that inappropriate comments about this and constant pressure from Serif’s family in Turkey eventually made the man leave them. He couldn’t have picked a “better” time for it either…

 

The 60-year-old mother only earns a modest pension, and has to pay off a loan she took for her pregnancy treatments, but even though making ends meet will be tough, she is still in seventh heaven over finally having a child.

“I knew it would be a big risk at my age, but my only wish in my life was that I have a child, and it happened to me,” Atifa said. “I was not afraid of my life at all, God gave me courage. I have never felt better.

 

“Whatever happens, if Serif stays or goes, I’ll fight to raise Alina as best I can. I will live for her alone,” the woman added. “I know it will not be easy, but I still think there are good people who can help me.”

An American woman has claimed that she went to the wrong house after she was arrested for cooking completely n*ked and stealing items from a stranger’s home in Peoria, according to KTVK.

 

According to police, Stacy Horton-Garcia went into a house through an unlocked door in the area of 91st Avenue and Peoria Avenue around 3 p.m. on July 11. She wanted to steal the homeowner’s clothes from the closet, authorities said.

 

A surveillance picture captured her cooking food n*ked inside the home, police said. She also allegedly took a shower before the homeowner arrived home and caught her.

 

Surveillance video showed her running from the house with the homeowner’s belongings which she dropped outside, police said.

 

Horton-Garcia was later arrested.

 

Police said she told them was going to her boyfriend’s house and accidentally went to the wrong house.

 

Horton-Garcia said her boyfriend’s name was Mike but didn’t know his last name. She said she only met him a few days prior at the Circle K at 91st and Peoria avenues.

 

Horton-Garcia was booked on one count of second-degree burglary and one count of first-degree criminal trespassing.

A 16-year old victim of sexual abuse has made a shocking confession, saying that she cannot do without having s.ex with men daily.

“He will tell me to come back home immediately our school closes and when I reach home he will be waiting for me to finger my honeypot,” she narrated.

She said with time he started having real s3.x with her.

She said when the man that initiated her into it moved out of their area, she resorted to meeting other men in the area without her aunt knowing.

She said she has become addicted to s.3x and cannot do without it.

“When I desire s.ex and I do not see anybody to do it in my area, I will go under the bridge and beg the touts to do it for me,” he said.

Her predicament came when she confessed to her teacher what she was going through after the teacher noticed some abnormal behaviour in her. The teacher contacted her aunt who contacted an NGO for assistance.

The programme coordinator of the NGO, Mrs. Priscilla Ingbia, noted that her case was very pathetic because of her age. She said her group took up the challenge to rehabilitate her because it was clear if nothing was done urgently her future was in danger.

She said her organisation has started the process of rehabilitating her by carrying out series of tests on her to ascertain her health conditions.

Ingbia stressed the urgent need to relocate her from her present environment and start a new life for her.

She said her organisation has not been able to do so because of the financial cost of doing so.

With four other children to cater for since her husband died two years ago, the poor widow, Christiana Chinze, readily yielded to a suggestion that Chinecherem be sent to the couple, in March, 2016, to serve as a housemaid while they put her in school and take care of her education. 

Chinecherem said when she arrived Ikare in March last year, Chidozie’s wife, who she said was pregnant at the time, told her that she was brought to the house for a purpose that would be revealed to her at the appropriate time. 

In an interview with TheNation, Chinecherem said: “One day in August last year, she told me that the time for the purpose of my coming to Ikare had come. She asked me to enter her husband’s room. 

I entered the room but, surprisingly, I met him lying naked on his bed. He beckoned to me to come but I refused. I started begging him, telling him that I had not done such a thing before.

Suddenly, Aunty (Chidozie’s wife) came into the room and pushed me towards her husband. She then held me down while her husband deflowered me. I cried throughout that day. Thereafter, he continued to sleep with me. Each time Uncle wanted to sleep with me, his wife would help him to hold me down.”

When she became pregnant, she was taken back to Enugu State and abandoned with her mom. However, when contacted, Chidozie admitted impregnating her. He said that both families had discussed extensively and settled the issue and he’s willing to take care of her. 

Chinecherem’s predicament has however been condemned by gender and human rights activists who have vowed to monitor the development to prevent the case from being swept under the carpet.
